THE NEW AUK'S LODGE

The New look Auk's Lodge coming this summer!!!
Why?
One of the most important aspects of the renovations is the creation of space that introduces a warm, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. We envision the Auk’s Lodge facility to be the “heart” of the campus.
Highlights
- The addition of a food service, the Kawartha Grille which will feature steakhouse burgers and pub fare.
- The Auks Lodge seating space will be upgraded.
- A mix of high tables, soft seating, lounge seating, banquets and dining tables will be combined to create a space that will invite you to relax, visit, study or enjoy some quiet time.
- Upgrading the existing bar and serving area to better serve the student population.
How will this affect the Pub in the Auk’s Lodge?
The pub is currently undergoing a review and making necessary changes to meet legislative requirements. The addition of the food service in the Auk’s Lodge will help to meet those requirements of the pub. The SA is working at ensuring that there is a fully functioning and regularly scheduled pub program on campus. The addition of the food service and renovated seating area will increase the use and function of the Auk’s Lodge during the day and on Pub Nights.
When?
Auk’s lodge construction would begin May 2, 2011 and would be complete on August 29, 2011.
